Bayern Print 18 goals in the third match, Guardiola Still Not Satisfied
Munich – Bayern Munich are very superior in the last few games in the Bundesliga. But Pep Guardiola still requires improvement from his team when attacking.
The last three games in the Bundesliga Bayern won by a landslide score. Consecutive Bayern beat Hamburg (8-0), Paderborn (6-0), and Cologne (4-1). That means Bayern scored 18 goals in three games, or six goals per game.
In the process, Arjen Robben contributed the most goals in the three games with five goals. Robert Lewandowski and Franck Ribery in a row followed by four and three goals.
Bayern was listed as the most prolific team in the Bundesliga this season. Until week-23, Thomas Mueller et al. has scored 63 goals. They are superior to 10 goals from Wolfsburg who became the second most productive team.
However, the record does not necessarily make Guardiola complacent. The Spaniard was considered his team still have to improve their attacks.
“We have to be better in attack. In the last, we are very tough, opponents have very little chance against us,” Guardiola said as quoted by Soccerway.
“Yes, lately we scored a lot of goals, but that’s because our players are very good. Our overall attack should be better,” he added.
Bayern are still mastering the Bundesliga standings with 58 points from 23 matches, eight points ahead of Wolfsburg who was ranked second. In the Bundesliga continued on Saturday (03/07/2015) night, Die Roten will be a visit to the headquarters of Hannover.
