Indonesia One Group with Iraq and Thailand in the 2018 World Cup Qualifying
Kuala Lumpur – 2018 World Cup qualifying draw for the Asian zone has been done. From the drawing, Indonesia joined in Group F along with Iraq and Thailand.
In the draw that is passed in Kuala Lumpur, Tuesday (14/4), Indonesia certainly incorporated with Iraq, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan. Indonesia will play their first game in this qualifying phase on June 11, 2015 to face a host of Taiwan.
Furthermore, Indonesia will host Iraq (16/6), they travel to Vietnam (3/9), host Thailand (8/1), and turns to entertain Taiwan (13/10).
In the last three games, Indonesia will come to Iraq (12/11), host Vietnam (17/11), and the last visit to Thailand (03/29/2016).
2018 World Cup qualifiers also acts as an Asian Cup qualifier in 2019, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates and was attended by 24 participants.
Each group, from Group A to Group H, filled by five teams. Each group winners certainly qualify for the Asian Cup finals in 2019 and qualified for the third round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
Meanwhile, the four best runners-up will qualify for the Asian Cup finals in 2019 and qualified for the third round of the 2018 World Cup Qualifying remaining four other runners-up will advance to the third round of the Asian Cup 2019 qualification.
Ranked third of each group will qualify automatically for the third round of the Asian Cup 2019 qualification.
While four teams ranked fourth best penempat will qualify for the third round of the Asian Cup 2019 Qualifying remaining four other teams who finished fourth in the playoffs will play the Asian Cup qualifiers in 2019.
What about the fifth? They are certain to be playing in the playoffs in 2019 Asian Cup qualifiers.
