Klopp Just Feel Dortmund Need Change
Dortmund – Juergen Klopp has confirmed that it will leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season. Klopp just feel Dortmund need a change and dismissed the issue of a rift with the team.
As reported previously, Klopp has announced it will leave Dortmund coach seat at the end of this season. A decision must be accepted by the weight of the club management after working together for seven years.
For seven years, Klopp brought Dortmund success. They won two Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal one, two German Super Cup, and also finished runner-up in the Champions League 2012-2013 season.
“I think Borussia Dortmund need a change. This is the time where the planning for the new season starts. That’s why the decision was taken to the future now,” said Klopp quoted Soccerway.
“Now everything about the club and it was bigger than anyone. Period. We still have much work to do at this time. This is a decision for the next season and we will concentrate on finishing the season,” he added.
Regardless of the success that has been achieved in recent years, Klopp and Dortmund in fact suffered a setback this season. They had stumbled in the German League, before then began to rise in the second half of the season.
Now they occupy the top 10 standings, with 33 of the 28 weeks. Chance to appear in the Champions League next season is almost certainly lost. Because of the difference in 18 points with Bayer Leverkusen in fourth position which so limits the Champions League is arguably impossible pursued again in the remaining six weeks.
One of the things that are believed to underlie the decision Klopp stop is no longer fully supported by the team. Had advanced well where unbeaten in seven games (five wins, two draws). Dortmund then swallow two successive defeats in the last two parties.
1-3 defeat of Borussia Moenchengladbach last weekend touted tinged dispute. Klopp reportedly engaged in debate with Sebastian Kehl, one of the senior players of the team.
“It may seem that I have a problem with the team last week, but this has nothing to do with it. There is no split or rift between me and the team,” he said.
“I have no problem with players, whoever it is. I have not had time to inform this to the team. I will speak to them in the near future,” said he.
